Dear Friend,
While I was in high school my mom had this rich uncle that didn't have children. I knew him as this old geezer with lots of money and cool toys. One day he decided to give my mom a 20 pound VHS-C camcorder that came in two packages: the VCR box and the camera. Back in 1985, that was pretty hot technology, so don't make fun of it.
Guess what, no one in my family could figure out how to use the dang thing so they let me tinker around with it.
I had spent a few hours figuring it out when I looked out the back window of my house and found that my dad was having a water fight with my three younger brothers. I went outside and hid behind the bushes while taking video of this spontaneous event. Later, I found that the VCR had an audio dubbing function. So after a little experimentation, I came out with this video of a water fight playing to the music of a Mozart Waltz.
I was hooked. What happened to that video? I’ll get to that in a second.
I wrote this report about simple techniques to improve the videos that you take. You see, I got sick of watching other people’s videos and thinking, “man this is garbage.” Since I do a lot of video work, people always want me to see what they’ve done. While I am sometimes impressed, I often find that it’s horrible. I get that nauseated feeling and want to run and hide.
I realize that this is a personal fault of mine, but bear with me.
What happens is someone gets one of those pre-packaged slideshow makers for $29. Then they spend 4 hours adjusting the photos and adding all kinds of crappy transitions. When the presentation comes, everyone around is saying how great it is because they set the slide show to music.
You know what I’m talking about don’t you.
If you really like to take videos, and you want them to look awesome, then you've got to get this quick and easy reference on how to turn crappy videos into great ones.
Specifically, you will learn...
Remember my water fight video, well it just so happened that my sister was in the high school drill team. They got woke up and some crazy hour of the morning to practice before school, so I never saw the VCR leave the house. She wanted to record the drill team and inadvertently took my water fight video with her. Since I hate to wake up early, I just went to school not understanding that the whole drill team had watched this water fight video. All day long, members of the drill team came up to me and said that it was the funniest video they had ever seen.
What would you do if all the most popular girls wanted to talk to you? Heck yes! Do more videos!

P.S. Aren't you asking why I'm not showing that video here? Well, I'd love to, but a few years after I graduated from high school, my parents ended up getting divorced. As a result of that, I lost many of the video's that I had done. It is one of my regrets that I didn't take better care of that one and many others that have since been lost.
